Acting on intelligence gained by the Angling Trust voluntary bailiff service a number of our waters were routinely searched this weekend for the possible presence of set lines.
Searches were carried out at Dilhorne, Black lake and the overflow complex, nothing untoward was noted and no lines were found during the survey. Other waters will be checked over the coming weeks in what is to become an ongoing monitoring operation.
Environment agency bailiffs have again carried out licence checks across several society venues and all anglers checked have been legal, club bailiffs are continuing to patrol the waters and other than a small amount of fly tipping all would appear to be in order.
The society is always on the lookout for new bailiffs and active members, anyone interested in joining our dedicated team should contact a club official for more information.
