Free Fishing and Coaching Weekend

Coaching 9 am -5pm

As part of national fishing month the society is opening the prolific Dilhorne Hall Pools venue to all anglers for one weekend (no night fishing) absolutely free of charge.

It does not matter what age you are, or what previous experience you have. Nor does it matter which cultural or social background you may be from. Fishing is for everyone!

Coaching will be available for juniors and beginners with all tackle and bait supplied.
Experienced game anglers will also be on hand to give fly casting demonstrations and fly tying tuition, why not come and tie your first fly and give it a go.

Free memberships for juniors are available with each coaching session and half price adult membership will be on sale throughout the weekend.

For the already experienced angler this is a fantastic opportunity to sample the great sport FDAS have to offer and for the inexperienced a chance to try fishing at no cost whatsoever.

There will be extensive displays of the club waters and facilities with officials and long standing members on hand to give hints and tips on all types of fishing.

If you are a carp, pike, game, match or pleasure angler or even a complete novice the society has the facilities to cater for you with rivers, still waters and canals containing species from the humble gudgeon to the mighty carp all waiting to be explored.
