From 1st March 2017 the society has secured a lease to fish Groundslow farm pool at Tittensor.
The fishing is to be restricted to full members (white cards) only.
Full membership is open to all members who qualify, details of how to apply are available via the website.
Letters have been sent to all existing full members along with a list of specific water rules.

The pool is known to contain a wide variety of species including some quite large carp but has been noted over the years as a prolific tench fishery.

The lease also includes groundslow’s sister water, green drive pool, better known to anglers as Parrots pool. Unfortunately the pool is currently very heavily weeded and blighted by the presence of high voltage electric power cables. A weed treatment programme is to be carried out and the owners are in talks with Western Power with a view to shrouding the cables, the creation of pegs on the opposite side of the pool has also been discussed. We would like to have the pool open to anglers as soon as possible but until further notice the pool should be considered closed.

Fishing at Parrots pool will be open to all grades of membership and night fishing will be allowed once the works have been concluded, until then there is NO FISHING allowed on this pool..

Groundslow is a fantastic addition to our portfolio of venues and is sure to become a firm favourite among our membership. The officials are extremely proud to have negotiated this lease on your behalf and hope that the relationship with the owners can be a long and successful one, all that remains is for you to study the rules and enjoy your fishing.
